These wood rings are formed from thin strips of walnut veneer. After carefully running electricity through the thin material, the wood is steamed, bent, rolled and dried. All of this happens before we size them to your ring dimension. If you don’t know your exact size, fear not, hobby lobby has ring sizers that you can slip on quickly to answer your question!
After we start the first layer of the ring, we pull it tightly around the sizing mandrel and laminate each layer to increase the strength. Once we have the proper thickness of the ring, we start up the lathe sand, shape and apply a hard coat finish on both sides make this ring durable and beautiful.
